HOW IT TAKES PLACE
The experience is unique and unforgettable, so much so that many people, once tried, have wanted to give it to their closest friends and relatives.
The offer is divided into two moments:
1) 11:30 AM / 5:30 PM Visit to the vineyards and production/aging facilities in Annunziata di La Morra.
The visit starts at 11:30 AM / 5:30 PM and lasts about an hour.
2) 1:00 PM / 7:00 PM Lunch with wine tasting in Barolo at the restored historical winery.
The visit ends at 12:30 PM and lunch starts at 1:00 PM.
The visit ends at 6:30 PM and dinner starts at 7:00 PM.
For the second part, you move to the historical center of Barolo, to what was, at the end of the 19th century, the first social winery of Barolo and then the winery of the Germano family from the 1930s, where lunch/dinner is served with selected wines. The courses are four and include: an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a dessert, ideal for those who want to explore the pairing of wines by tasting many delicious dishes, each one a symbol of a traditional recipe. The dishes, prepared with the fresh products of the Bosco delle Galline Volanti farm and other local farms, make the tasting particularly authentic and with a focus on zero kilometer products.
The dishes, always seasonal, offer the opportunity to delve into ancient Piedmontese food and wine culture. Our research aims to rediscover old recipes but selecting them with today's criteria (lighter and healthier ingredients) and bringing them back to a more credible rural context. For example, we make classic plin ravioli, but it is unlikely that families could afford beef, it is much more likely that they used poultry, hence the plin with chicken filling. A cuisine that seeks to preserve a collective heritage. Each dish, like each wine, will be explained in its organoleptic characteristics but also through the history and anecdotes behind it.
Gifting a visit and lunch package in Barolo is a gift for the body and soul.
Often when it comes time to choose a gift (for friends, a loved one, a wedding, or an anniversary), the problem is that people are already full of more or less useful objects, and so, unless the recipient has a specific need that you are aware of, it becomes very difficult to choose the right gift.
Gifting an experience, like our proposal of a winery visit with lunch, really allows you to give something that will remain forever in the memory of the recipient. The experience enriches one's knowledge and allows time spent immersed in one of the most picturesque landscapes in Italy, the Langhe, indeed the heart of the Langhe, the Barolo area, savoring wines and dishes that are envied worldwide. It's a gift for the soul and the body. It's a thought that fills an entire day if not an entire weekend. And the gift-giver will be associated with that special moment, a memory in the heart full of emotions, discovery, scents, colors, and flavors.
You don't need to be a wine connoisseur or enthusiast; the visit is still interesting to discover a millenary culture, and the tasting can be a moment to savor the many nuances of Piedmontese cuisine even in a vegetarian version.
OVERNIGHT STAY
If you also want to gift the overnight stay for a more complete experience, it can be purchased separately by sending an email to
